FISHHOOK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance certain prevention of slippage of a bait thrust into a fishhook and exclusion of reduction of strengths of the fishhook. SOLUTION: The fishhook is formed with a wire rod having a needle tip 3 on the tip of the wire rod and has the following structure: uneven sequence parts having two or more recessed parts longitudinally arranged in the wire rod are made on at least two parts of the surface, one uneven sequence part locates on the opposite side of the other uneven sequence part on the peripheral surface of the wire rod, both uneven sequence parts are arranged to have the recessed parts at different positions in the longitudinal direction of the wire rod. Thus, the remarkable reduction of strengths in the cross section caused by the same positions of the recessed parts of the both uneven sequence in the longitudinal direction of the wire rod is excluded and the reduction of the strengths of the fishhook is avoided.
