Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal method for dry food or manufacturing intermediates without spoiling the flavor of the dry food, exterminating mites such as Tyrophagus putrescentiae or beetles regardless of before or after inoculation of bacteria with respect to dry fish, and invented so that such treatments give no bad influence to the food in view of food safety. SOLUTION: The insecticidal method for dry food or manufacturing intermediates is provided for insecticiding ova of mites or beetles, adult insects or the like in dry foods such as dry fish, dry mushrooms, boiled-dried small fish or dried fish, or during production processes thereof. The method comprises putting dried food or its manufacturing intermediates into a drying chamber, raising temperature in the drying chamber up to 45-48°C followed by heating the food or the intermediates while maintaining the temperature in the chamber for at least 5 hours.
