Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a user to repeatedly input the same information when the user has a used article taken over. SOLUTION: This server system 10 communicating with a user computer 40 is provided to develop a used article estimation site to be used when taking a used article over from a user and a shopping site to be used when purchasing merchandise by the user. Upon receiving information associated with a merchandise purchase procedure from the user computer 40 in the shopping site after receiving information associated with the trade-in estimation request of the used article from the user computer 40 in the used article estimation site, the server system advances a trade-in procedure without requesting the re-input of the information associated with the trade-in estimation request of the used article to the user computer 40.
