BALL-AND-ROLLER BEARING, MOTOR USING THE SAME, BLOWER MOTOR FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF COATING THE BEARING WITH LUBRICANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise generated in sliding a seal member and a seal groove, because of the shortage of a lubricant applied to the seal groove, when a motor is rotated. SOLUTION: This ball-and-roller bearing 50 comprises an outer ring 51 having an outer ring raceway groove 51a, an inner ring 52 having an inner ring raceway groove 52a, a ball 53 (rolling element) rotatable between the outer ring raceway groove 51a and the inner ring raceway groove 52a in a state of being slidably held by a ball cage 54, and a seal member 55 fixed to the outer ring 51 and slidably kept into contact with the seal groove 52b formed on an outer peripheral face of the inner ring 52. In this antifriction bearing 50, the lubricant 70 is applied to the inner ring 52 continuously from the inner ring raceway groove 52a to the seal groove 52b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
