SUGAR-COATED TABLET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar-coated tablet whose sugar-coating layer is scarcely cracked, even when a substance having a high moisture-absorbing property is used as a nuclear tablet, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The sugar-coated tablet is characterized by laminating a primer layer (B), a shellac layer (C) and a sugar coating layer (D) on the nuclear tablet (A) having a water content of ≥9 wt. %, when left under the condition of a relative humidity of 80% at a temperature of 25°C for 14 hrs, such as a nuclear tablet containing an alga such as Spirulina, in the order of (A)/(B)/(C)/(D). The method for producing the sugar-coated tablet is characterized by coating the primer layer (B) on the surface of the nuclear tablet (A) having the water content of ≥9 wt. %, when left under the condition of the relative humidity of 80% at the temperature of 25°C for 14 hrs, such as the nuclear tablet containing the alga such as Spirulina, then drying, coating the shellac layer (C) on the primer layer (B), then drying, further coating the sugar-coating layer (D) on the shellac layer (C) and then drying.
