Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and safe method for reducing burden on muscle of cultured fish, by which a liver function of cultured fish is kept normal, burden on muscle of cultured fish is reduced, growth of the fish is promoted without interrupting feeding even in a term when the fish is easy to fall into oxygen deficiency, particularly when getting into full feeding so as to increase the weight of the fish and also improve feed efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for reducing burden on muscle of cultured fish comprises administering 0.1-1,000 mg/kg(weight)/day of yeast extract, preferably torula yeast extract, containing sodium 5'-guanylate, sodium 5'-adenylate, sodium 5'-cytidylate and sodium 5'-uridylate each at 1-15 wt.%, to the culture fish.
