Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router and forwarding method for accessing a plurality of terminals with their own host names, and terminals even when a global IP address is updated, and using a common directory among a plurality of terminals. SOLUTION: In this router and forwarding method, when a server A3 and a server B4 subordinate to the router 2 are accessed, the router 2 fetches a host name from an IP packet, converts the host name into a local IP address corresponding to the host name and transmits the local IP address to the server A3 and the B4.
