SAFETY SWITCH FOR DOORS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety switch for doors with excellent convenience and a simple structure and used for an operation control circuit of a food machine, a machine tool, etc. SOLUTION: A reed switch 15 and a permanent magnet 11 are arranged within a switch main body 1 so that they face with a specified interval. An operation lever 5 is connected with a shutter piece 7 of a ferromagnetic material disposed between the reed switch and the permanent magnet, and is reciprocatably provided by interposing a spring 8 in the switch body. When a pressing part 6 of the operation lever 5 is pressed, the shutter piece is retreated from the reed switch to set a contact 15a of the switch closed by the magnetic action of the permanent magnet. And when the pressed condition of the operation lever is released, the shutter piece is advanced to a position where it covers the front of the reed switch by spring elasticity to open the contact of the switch.
