METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALOE MESOPHYLL FOR COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing freely multicolored aloe mesophyll for cosmetics having a bright color, bleed resistance and excellent corrosion resistance without irritation to the skin and a cosmetic composition comprising the mesophyll formulated therein. SOLUTION: The method for production comprises (a) a step of carrying out a washing treatment of the aloe mesophyll with an organic solvent, (b) a step of dipping the washed aloe mesophyll in a protein solution and/or a hydrolyzed protein solution, (c) a step of dipping the resultant aloe mesophyll in a liquid containing a vegetable pigment component and (d) a step of dipping the aloe mosophyll in a mordant and fixing the vegetable pigment component. The cosmetic composition is obtained by formulating the aloe mesophyll. In the aloe mesophyll for the cosmetics, the presence of the aloe meophyll can be confirmed by naked eyes even when the aloe mesophyll is formulated in an opaque cosmetic such as that tinted with a color tone or a cream. Thereby, the appearance designability of the cosmetics can be more improved. Since the aloe mesophyll itself has excellent corrosion resistance, the convenience is extremely high in aspects without requiring excessive antiseptic considerations in prescription.
