PROTECTION LAYER TRANSFER SHEET FOR INKJET IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection layer transfer sheet whereby a protection layer can be thermally transferred to an image receiving material even when the image receiving material is of a porous material layer image receiving material or a swelling layer image receiving material in the case where an image is formed by a water ink, and then the protection layer is immediately transferred on the image by a thermal transfer printer, thereby applying a scratch-resistance property, a water-resistance property and a glossiness property to the protected image. SOLUTION: The protection layer transfer sheet is so constituted that the protection layer and an adhesive layer are sequentially laminated on a base. The main component of the protection layer is chosen from at least one of an acrylic resin, an acetophenone formaldehyde resin, a terpene phenol resin, and an alicyclic hydrocarbon resin, and the adhesive layer is chosen from at least one of a water soluble resin and water-soluble wax-like substance.
