RELAY INSERTING DEVICE AND RELAY INSERTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently insert a plurality of kinds of relays in a relay block without erroneous assembling. SOLUTION: This relay inserting device 1 is provided with a setting plate 5 having respective holding holes 51 for the plurality of kinds of relays 4 to be held, and the setting plate 5 holding the plural kinds of relay can be set on the relay block 6. It is also provided with a slit plate 8 having respective insertion holes 22 corresponding to the terminals of the plural kinds of relay. A detecting switch for the terminal of the relay is disposed under the insertion hole 22 of the slit plate 8. It is also provided with a guide plate 10 set on the slit plate 8 and disposed under the setting plate 5 while having respective insertion holes 28 corresponding to the plural relays. The press plate 16 of a press machine 3 presses each relay by taking two steps so that each relay is provisionally inserted in the relay block 6 with small force and it is then actually inserted with large force.
