AUXILIARY MODULE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUXILIARY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary module by which separate access is allowed by connecting a plurality of modules to the same computer body even if the modules have a fixed slave address; and to provide a method for controlling the auxiliary module. SOLUTION: The auxiliary module is provided with a connector for module capable of connecting the module being accessible when a slave address signal for module corresponding to the fixed slave address is input; and a connection section to be connected to the computer body. The slave address signal for module is output through the connector for module to the module. When the slave address signal corresponding to the changeably set slave address is inputted to the module from the computer body, the computer body can access the module. Consequently, separate access is allowed by connecting the plurality of modules to the same computer body to enhance the inspection efficiency of the modules. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
