Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine the end load while considering a traction coefficient in power transmission. SOLUTION: A contact point offset amount estimating part 108 estimates an offset amount x0 of a power roller caused by the displacement of a trunnion. A contact point estimating part 114 estimates a temperature of a lubricant between the power roller and an input and output disc. A necessary end load calculating part 118 by the estimation of the maximum traction coefficient, estimates the maximum traction coefficient μmax while considering the offset amount and the contact point temperature, and controls the end load to provide the maximum traction coefficient μmax with constant allowance to the use traction coefficient μ.
