Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anodic oxidation method for depositing a film of excellent corrosion resistance with less power consumption. SOLUTION: In a method for performing anodic oxidation of magnesium alloy, electrolysis is performed by using fixed current of a current density of 0.1-4.8 A/dm2or fixed voltage of 0.5-10V from a DC power source in an electrolyte composition containing (i) hydroxide of alkaline metal and (ii) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a compound including a partial structure and salt thereof.
