Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for releasing a styrenic resin fusion mass by which the styrenic fusion mass generated in a core vent or the like is efficiently removed and the styrenic fusion mass is hardly generated in the core vent or the like after the removal. SOLUTION: In the method for releasing the styrenic resin fusion mass generated on a mold face 14 such as steam jet orifices (core vents) 16 or the like of a mold 12 for fusion-molding a styrenic resin, a release agent composed of a 1-3C N-alkylpyrrolidone as a release component is applied to the mold face 14 and the styrenic resin fusion mass is removed.
