Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powered speaker system which can freely control the output of voice signal by the control from the outside in a speaker system provided with a power amplifier circuit. SOLUTION: In the speaker system in which a sound source is inputted from the outside, the voltage of a signal inputted is amplified by a preamplifier 102, the voltage-amplified signal is power-amplified by an amplifier 103, and the power-amplified signal is outputted with a speaker 104, a control signal inputted from a control signal input terminal 105 is detected by a control signal detection part 106, and the voice output outputted from the speaker 104 is controlled from the outside by controlling the power ON and OFF of the preamplifier part 102 and the amplifier part 103 by a power source control part 107.
