DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment for the optical axis in a display system for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The display system for a vehicle is provided with an infrared camera 10 having a CCD element 12 for converting video images in front of a vehicle to electric signals and a DSP 13 for generating video signals on the basis of the electric signals, a head-up display 20 having a liquid crystal panel 21 to display the video images on the basis of the video signals, and an operating switch 30 for setting the location of the optical axis of the video images to the liquid crystal panel 21. The DSP 13 generates the video signals by deviating the timing of at least one of the synchronizing signals between the horizontal synchronizing signal and the vertical synchronizing signal included in the video signals corresponding to the location of the optical axis set by the operating switch 30. By this, the adjustment of the optical axis can be easily executed without requiring a preset counter required in the preceding application. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
