DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device from which the satisfactory recording and reproducing characteristic of an optical disk can be obtained. SOLUTION: A disk device 1 has the main body 2 equipped with a casing (enclosure) 22 and a top plate (lid body) 23 which overlies the upside of the casing 22 and a disk housing part 111 in which an optical disk 90 is housed and has a disk tray 11 which is installed so as to be movable to the main device 2 though the aperture 240 formed in the front surface of the device 2. A projecting part 231 of an annular shape concentric to the center of the rotation of the optical disk 90 is formed in an area corresponding to disk housing part 111 at the time the disk tray 11 is inserted into the main device 2 so as to be projected toward the inside of the main device 2 on the top plate 23.
