METHOD, APPARATUS AND PROGRAM FOR AUTOMATIC SPACE NAVIGATION, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING THE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for automatic space navigation, which navigate so as to exactly, quickly detect desired Web pages without getting lost in a huge network in which large amounts of Web pages exist. SOLUTION: An attribute to move from an original Web page to a target Web page is stored into a history database 21 as an arc attribute. The arc attribute of a path from an arbitral Web page to an accessible Web page is read out from the database 21, and the arc attribute and user search conditions are compared to recommend Web page candidates to visit. Subsequently, the user search conditions are corrected using the arc attribute for an Web page selected from the candidates, and processings of comparison, recommendation, providing and correction are repeated. Finally, the corrected user search conditions are feedbacked to the arc attributes for all paths, and then the database 21 is updated with the arc attributes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
