CONFIRMATION SUPPORT DEVICE AND METHOD OF RECOGNITION RESULT AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm surely and quickly a recognition result lot number and the position of the recognition result lot number by using map image data and lot number data. SOLUTION: Automatic recognition processing of the lot number included in the map image data is performed, and comparison processing between the recognition result lot number and a correct answer file of the lot number is executed. The recognition result lot number is classified from the comparison result into three states, namely, a unique-definite lot number, a duplicate-ambiguous lot number and an unrecognized lot number, and a confirmation work of the recognition result lot number is executed in every state. The lot number to be confirmed is switched semi-automatically. A map image is displayed in a large region of a screen displayed on a display, and a sliced image is displayed in a small region, and a character code is displayed in a character code display region. The recognition result lot number displayed in the large region is enclosed by a rectangle having prescribed color and line width and displayed.
