Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally control ignition timing while securing a smooth running property, by limiting a retard control for reducing shocks caused by abrupt change in engine output torque at a time of restarting fuel supply only when it is really necessary, in an ignition timing control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, in which a throttle valve is driven by an actuator and the retard control of the ignition timing is performed at the time of restarting the fuel supply after fuel cut. SOLUTION: When output of the internal combustion engine is transmitted to driving wheels through a transmission and manipulated variables (a target throttle opening THOMI) indicating the engine output torque requirements of a driver determined based on an accelerator pedal position in manipulated variables of the actuator driving the throttle valve is zero (S30), operation of an ignition timing control means is permitted (S34 to S40).
