Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support post and a deck supporting structure which are maintenance-free and capable of easily concealing post fittings below a deck. SOLUTION: The support post 6 comprises a baseplate 15; a post body 16 placed upright on the baseplate 15 to support a sleeper 3 from below; and a post cover 17 installed on the baseplate 15 for covering the circumference of the post body 16. The baseplate 15 is fixed on a post foundation 7. The deck 2 is supported against the upper end of the post body 16 of the support post 6 via the sleeper 3. The post cover 17 is installed on the baseplate 15 in such a way as to cover the circumference of the post body 16 to easily conceal the post body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
