Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil conditioning material given by utilizing ash from fluidized beds, capable of conducting solidification treatment of mud in a short time, and capable of producing recyclable soil having wide applicability, and to provide a method for conditioning the soil. SOLUTION: The ash from the fluidized bed and gypsum are combined and used as the soil conditioning material and in the method for conditioning the soil. Because the gypsum in the above combination has an effect of solidifying the soil in an early stage and the ash from the fluidized bed has another effect of developing strength in a middle and long term, the solidification treatment of the mud is conducted in the short time and treated soil having excellent strength is formed. Further, the gypsum does not contain an alkali component which is dissolved and moved into the soil, so that the gypsum does not increase a pH of the treated soil, while the pH is increased when cement is used. Therefore, the conditioning material scarcely puts loads on the environment, and the treated soil having the wide applicability is produced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
