Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite powder with high conductivity and high water repellency and suitable for a conductive material for a battery and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The graphite powder has a DBP absorption of 80-200mL/100g and satisfies inequality (1): D50/DCP mode diameter ≥ 0.8 (wherein DCP mode diameter is the mode diameter of the centrifugal sedimentation particle diameter in a Stokes region; and D50 is the half-value width of the mode diameter). Preferably, the mean primary particle diameter is 10-100nm; and the DCP mode diameter is 50-500nm. The graphite powder is manufactured preferably by induction heating carbon black to graphitize it.
