ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD FOR LOAD POSITION OF STACKER CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection method for load position which can prevent damage to the load and position deviation, reduce the effect on the process after inspecting the deviation, and easily perform restoration work. SOLUTION: A position detection sensor 43 in the right/left direction and a position deviation detection sensor 45 in the front/rear direction are provided on a lifting base 35 of a stacker crane 25. After completion of movement of the lifting base, the position deviation detection of the load is performed before a transfer device 41 starts the movement relative to the load. When the position deviation of the load is detected, the position deviation is detected again after it is reported to the operator or after adjusting the position of the lifting base or after adjusting the moving amount of the transfer device. Afterward, it follows the process to transfer to the work of a substitute article or the like where continuation of the work, the report to the operator, and the succeeding work are precedingly executed.
