REMOVING AGENT OF FLUORINE OR PHOSPHORUS AND REMOVING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove fluorine and/or phosphorus from fluorine and/or phosphorus-containing water. SOLUTION: In a titanium reaction tank 10, a titanyl salt or a titanium salt is added to fluorine-containing water to insolubilize fluorine. Next, a polymeric flocculant is added to the treated water from the reaction tank 10 in a flocculation tank 12 to form flocs. Then, the treated water from the flocculation tank 12 is subjected to sedimentation treatment in a sedimentation tank 14 to remove a solid to obtain treated water from which fluorine is removed.
