Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer, wherein electric consumption is saved by reducing thermal energy discharged outward from the deodorizing and/or heating sections thereof, and the installation space thereof is reduced. SOLUTION: This deodorizer comprises a body 2, a deodorizing treatment chamber 11 defined by an external cylinder at the center of the body 2, and a heat exchange chamber 12 provided around the deodorizing treatment chamber 11, along which many heat exchange tubes 13 are arranged; a single internal cylinder 17 being provided in the deodorizing treatment chamber 11 spaced by a clearance 33 from the external cylinder 16. In the internal cylinder having a heating inlet, a heater 41 and a catalyzer layer 42 through which a gas containing heated odor ingredients passes to be deodorized are removably provided, respectively outside the body 2, and at the body 2, an inlet 25 for introducing the odor ingredients containing gas into the heat exchange chamber 11 and an outlet 32 for discharging the gas after deodorizing treatment are provided.
