Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain capable of producing transglutaminase in high efficiency, and to provide a method for producing the transglutaminase by using the strain. SOLUTION: The structural gene encoding the transglutaminase is derived from Streptomyces mobaraensis. The Streptomyces mobaraensis as a transformant is such that a promoter and a terminator acting on the structural gene are extraneously introduced.
