FOLDING PORTABLE TELEPHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding portable telephone that is provided with a plurality of loudspeakers, capable of reproducing a mobile phone melody etc., as a stereophonic melody and can realize sound effects other than the normal stereophonic reproduction. SOLUTION: This folding portable telephone contains a front loudspeaker 6 on the side of an upper case 1, having a displaying surface and a back loudspeaker 7 on an upper cover 2 side. The loudspeakers 6 and 7 are loaded in the telephone by shifting their positions so that their back faces do not overlap each other coaxially. This telephone is provided with first and second reproducing means which respectively independently drive the front and back loudspeakers 6 and 7, based on first and second sound source information related to the mobile phone ringtone, voices, and music. When this telephone is in a folded state, the power consumption of the telephone is saved by making only the back loudspeaker 7 driven, by only operating the second reproducing means.
