PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article selling device capable of surely returning an article which is left to a reporter of the leaving. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a photographing means (9) for photographing the face of an article purchaser, a selling means (111) for selling an article in response to the instruction of article purchase, a detecting means (6a) for detecting the presence of leaving the sold article, a collecting means (111) for collecting the left article when the leaving of the article is detected by the detecting means, and a storing means (140) for storing the face image data of the article purchaser photographed by the photographing means in a leaving list when the leaving the article is detected by the detecting means.
