METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING CONTAMINATED PART OF INNER FACE OF CHIMNEY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working environment by separately processing a contaminated part and a non-contaminated part in a chimney, and further to reduce the generation of harmful industrial waste. SOLUTION: This contaminated part removing device comprising a support base capable of being positioned on a central part in the chimney A by a positioning mechanism 2, and a blast nozzle 3 revolvably and vertically movably supported on the support base 1 and injecting an abrasive material to the chimney inner face B, is used. The support base 1 is inserted into the chimney in a suspended state, and is positioned at the central part at a desired height, the blast nozzle 3 is revolved and vertically moved, and the abrasive material is injected to the chimney inner face B from the blast nozzle 3, so that the chimney inner face is ground by the injected abrasive material and the contaminated part of the chimney inner face is removed.
