GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD AND GROUND IMPROVEMENT MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method for reducing time and economic losses by eliminating overlap construction work, and obtaining uniform strength and quality in the depth direction. SOLUTION: This ground improvement method inputs an improving material to an excavating groove by forming the excavating groove by moving a cutter post having an excavating tool in the lateral direction in a state of being inserted into the ground, and comprises side cutters 22 and 23 for excavating in the longitudinal direction in addition to a cutter bit 11 of a chain type cutter for excavating in the lateral direction as the excavating tool, and is characterized by improving the ground of a specific area by continuing the excavating groove with a plurality of longitudinal rows by excavating by turning back the cutter post 6 while changing a position in the longitudinal direction by excavating in the longitudinal direction by the side cutters 22 and 23 at an end point of the lateral directional excavating groove by the cutter bit 11.
