Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active mass damper for damping the rocking vibration, facilitating maintenance and reducing the size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: According to the output of an encoder 17 provided on a motor 11b for moving a plumb 18, the displacement from the moving origin is obtained, and the obtained displacement and the speed computed from the displacement are fed back to a torque command value of a driver 43 for moving an X-table to rotate the rotor 11b. When the torque command value of the driver 43 becomes zero (the X-table is stopped), according to the output of the encoder 17, the plumb is positioned in the moving origin (the center of the moving stroke).
