PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus with enhanced convenience by being equipped with two CPUs to separately start up an operating system, multifunctional but taking a long time to start, and an operating system, limited in functions but starting up in a short time, wherein a defect of one CPU is supplemented with an advantage of the other. SOLUTION: When a power supply button 110 is pressed down, firstly, an embedded controller (EC) 109 starts up the operating system, limited in functions but starting up in a short time, by the use of a system (B) 200 having a CPU 102. Thereafter, the controller (EC) 109, in such an event that the use of high-function software is requested, starts the operating system, multifunctional but taking a long time to start, by the use of the system (B) 200 having the CPU 102 to change used operating systems.
