LOG-IN METHOD OF CLIENT SERVER SYSTEM, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log-in method for a client server system with excellent balance between security and operability. SOLUTION: The log-in method for the client server system enables a client 102 to display a designated log-in screen, when a server 101 receives a connection request from the client 102 connected through the Internet 105 or LAN 103. Upon receiving a connection request from the client 102, the server 101 acquires an IP address of the client. Based on the IP address, a network through which the client is connected is determined. When it is determined that a client 102c is connected through the Internet 105, a first log-in screen is displayed. When it is determined that clients 102a and 102c are connected through LAN 103, a second log-in screen having an easier log-in operation than the first log-in screen is displayed.
