Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean air by supplying half of anions generated by an anion generator, into a room, and sucking the remaining half into a casing. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with an indoor unit 2 with a heat exchanger 10 and a blower 17 provided inside the casing 3 having a suction port 6 and a blowoff port 8 with a prescribed space in a vertical direction. An anion generating part 31 of the anion generator 30 is provided at a middle part between the suction port 6 and blowoff port 8 of the casing 3. Almost half of the anions generated by the anion generating part 31 is sucked into the casing 3 together with air in the room to clean the interior of the indoor unit. The remaining half is supplied into the room on the air blown out of the blowoff port 8 and acts on human bodies to promote and maintain health. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
