INDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for air conditioner capable of enhancing the product value by uniforming the space between the inlet port of a decorative panel and a suction grill with a relatively simple structure to improve the appearance. SOLUTION: A heat-exchanger 24 and a blower 23 are housed in an indoor unit body 20 and mounted and fixed under a roof. The decorative panel 100 has the rectangular inlet port 110 and outlet ports 120-123 provided around it. The rectangular suction grill 111 is openably and closably fitted to the inlet port. Each edge part L of the inlet port and each edge part S of the suction grill 111 have, as a positioning mechanism part 33, a projection part 30 and a recessed part 32 having inclined parts 31 on both sides in the respective center positions. The projection part is hooked with the recessed part, thereby, the fitting position of the suction grill in the inlet port is corrected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
