SOLUTION: A finish nail has a shaft part 1 of a rectangular section, and a plurality of recessed parts 3 or projecting parts 4 are formed at intervals in the longitudinal direction of a side surface corresponding to a short side of the rectangular section. In a method for manufacturing the finish nail, a plurality of nails (a) are cut to a predetermined length by the pressing, and connected in a belt to constitute a connection body 6, and a recessed bar 8 or a projecting bar 9 is formed in a connecting direction or diagonally to the connecting direction with reference to both sides of a face side and a back side or one side of the connection body 6.
