| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass ornament using a cylindrical glass material formed by utilizing, e.g., a used empty bottle, applied as vases, vessels, ornaments and the like having various shapes, effective in practical use of resources and capable of heightening added values since the empty bottle to be a waste product is worked so as to be reused. SOLUTION: In the glass ornament using the cylindrical glass material, an opening part is formed in the cylindrical glass material, a plurality of slits having a prescribed length are formed from the opening part to form a plurality of strip pieces, the cylindrical glass material is heated and softened and a plurality of windows are formed from the slit parts by fusing and connecting the end parts of the strip pieces.
