Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of backwashing a pulse-jet type bag filter which can surely prevent the clogging of a filter cloth over a long period to make the safe operation of the bag filter possible, and the bag filter. SOLUTION: When an exhaust gas containing at least water and an acidic component is treated by the pulse-jet type bag filter 1, a gas heated at a prescribed temperature equal to or below the heat-resistance temperature of the filter cloth 7 is used as a pulse-jet gas for backwashing.
