MENU DISPLAY METHOD AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus such as a digital camera that can downsize a menu operation section and a display screen and can prevent a menu operation from being erroneously performed. SOLUTION: When a menu key is depressed, a CPU adds page tags Ta to Tc to a menu page Pa to which an operation guide G1 of 'select any of items below with an execution key' in an operation guide section 1 is added and a cursor is placed on the page tag Ta to indicate the page tag Ta. When a user executes any of menu items Ma1 to Ma3, first the user depresses the execution key according to the operation guide G1 of 'select any of items below with an execution key'. Thus, the CPU revises the indication of the operation guide section 1 into an operation guide of 'return' and moves the cursor onto the operation guide section 1. In this state, the user operates UP/down keys to select any menu item and depressed the execution key to be able to execute the selected menu item. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
