Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supporting an action of a visually impaired person from a remote place by using a cellular phone function with a navigation function and a digital camera function. SOLUTION: The visually impaired person support method composed of a portable terminal 1 the cellular phone function with the navigation function and the digital camera function transferring information through a communication line 6 and possessed by the visually impaired person, a support center 7 deputizing for eyes at a request from the visually impaired person, and a credit company 10. According to a support use requesting signal from the portable terminal 1 by the visually impaired person, the support center 7 sends a present position information and image information sending instruction signal to the portable terminal 1. On the basis of the information received from the portable terminal 1, support information for deputizing for eyes of the user is sent to the portable terminal by voice.
