Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the point of purchase advertisement, capable of being replaced for conventional customer-care by a sales assistant, and to provide the advice for the method to each shop. SOLUTION: This method is provided to create POP by using a POP creation supporting server comprising a commodity master database, a POP selection table, a number of characters defining table and a POP database, and a shop terminal accessing the server to create POP. This method comprises a step for updating the contents of the commodity master database, a step for creating the POP in accordance with rules of the POP selection table and the number of characters defining table on the updated commodities, a step for storing the created POP in the POP database, a step for reading at least a part of the POP stored in the POP database and correcting the read POP in accordance with the rules of the POP selection table and the number of character defining table, a step for retrieving the POP database and reading out the desired POP stored therein, and a step for printing the retrieved POP.
