Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic porous body having independent pores uniform in diameter. SOLUTION: Foam is incorporated into a slurry obtained by kneading a ceramic powder and water. The foam is generated by passing a foaming agent through a mesh to foam and has a uniform diameter. The slurry in which the foam is incorporated is kneaded, cast and molded. The ceramic porous body is manufactured by taking the molded article out of a mold and sintering (baking) the same. The ceramic porous body has pores which are the trace of the foam. Each pore is circular and independent of each other. So, the ceramic porous body has good heat insulation properties.
