Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift capable of preventing other forklift or workers in the surroundings from coming into contact with the fork and preventing a worker from stumbling even when an operator leaves the forklift while the fork rises above predetermined height. SOLUTION: When forlift work ends and a key switch is turned off (YES at S1) or an auto power off function operates (YES at S2), a lift cylinder of a hydraulic drive means is operated by a control means to lower the fork forcedly until it lands on a floor surface (S7) if a reach in switch of a reach in the detection means is off (NO at S5) by satisfying forced lowering conditions that a release switch is on (YES at S3) and lift height of the fork is above predetermined lift height (YES at S4).
