Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving device and method capable of saving a power consumption of an air conditioner capable of holding a constant temperature and removing moisture. SOLUTION: In this power saving device and method for the air conditioner, based on a detected indoor temperature, the rotating speed of an outdoor fan is variably controlled by using pre-set first and second set temperatures. By this, a superior effect such that a power consumption of approximately 10 to 20% can be saved as compared with conventional air conditioners can be provided.
