Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater reduced in size and usable for hot fluid without installing an insulator on the outer surface of a heater body by increasing a thermal efficiency, a method of manufacturing the heater, and a method of using the heater. SOLUTION: In this fluid heater 1, a flange part 3 is fitted to the end part of the heater body 2, partition pipes 5 and 6 are disposed in the heater body, an external space is formed in the clearance thereof from the heater body 2, and a fluid passage is formed so that fluid flows from the external space 11 to internal spaces 12 and 13 inside the partition pipes 5 and 6. The fluid heater having a fluid supply port 9 communicating with the external space 11 and a fluid discharge port 10 communicating with the internal spaces 13 comprises a sheath heater 21 formed of a double-spiral coil part 22 forming a heating part disposed in the internal space 12 of the partition pipe 5, two lead parts 23 connected to the coil part 22 which are passed through the flange part 3 and extending in a same direction, and a terminal part 24 connected to the lead parts 23.
