SOLUTION: This reed 10 comprises dents 22 having the first dent portions 36 for guiding a weft and a reinforcing member 26 having the second dent portion 40 for guiding the weft, wherein the dents 22 and the reinforcing member 26 are arranged so that the first and second dents 36, 40 communicate with each other to form a groove for guiding the weft and the reinforcing member 26 is disposed at the end of the side opposite to the picking side.
