TRAIN DETECTION SYSTEM IN DOUBLE-TRACKED ZONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train detection system under point detection system using a radio device capable of detecting a train by specifying a conventional railroad line in a double-tracked zone in which two railroads exist. SOLUTION: This train detection system is provided with a first transmitter and receiver 3 transmitting modulated wave in a communication region S and question signal in a communication region S1 across railroads 1, 1 always, a second transmitter and receiver 4 receiving modulated wave signal of the first transmitter and receiver 3 and transmitting question signal in a communication region S2 always, an on-train response device 6 returning response signal by responding to question signals of the first and second transmitter and receivers 3, 4 due to advance of trains 7, 8 into the communication regions S1, S2, and a train detection device 5 detecting a train by specifying the conventional railroad line based on train detection information of the first transmitter and receiver 3, communication shut-off information of the second transmitter and receiver 4, and train detection information.
