UNDERSEA STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use an almost unused ocean to increase the production of marine resources. SOLUTION: A structure body constituting an undersea structure has a truss structure formed by connecting rod-like members to joints 4 for connecting the ends of the rod-like members to each other. The specific gravity of the structure body is ≤1.0. The joint 4 has four or more connection portions 4a for connecting the rod-like members 3, and three or more of the connection portions 4a are placed on the same plane. The structure body is formed by zigzag arranging elements and then connecting the elements to share the joints 4 used as apexes. Each of the elements is formed by connecting the ends of three rod-like members 3 disposed on the sides of a triangle to three joints 4 disposed on the apexes of the triangle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
